Chapter Fifty two

Mary and Clara entered Helma's room to find her sobbing bitterly. Mary hugged Helma and comforted her. "What happened baby?" Mary asked but Helma's sobbing increased. Nobody would believe her, she choosed to say nothing. Donald returned to Helma's room and stood at the door. Mary and Clara left them alone. Donald locked the door and tossed a brown envelope to her. Helma stared at the envelope and had no strength to pick it up.

"Your salary and more! You would have said you needed more money instead of resulting to stealing from me" Donald said bitterly. Helma looked at Donald and sobbed more. Her hands were shaking and her whole body covered in sweats. "Stop pretending already" Donald yelled pissed. He hissed and walked out of her room. Helma rushed to the door and locked it.
