Three days ago, we met with Jyquardini on the borders of our land. Drake had a feeling that Ty would be pissed when she found out and that we didn’t take her with us. He was right. She was pissed, and she had not talked to us since. She also has been sleeping in a room on the second floor. Neither of us has slept well since then. The two of us are sitting in the kitchen when her sweet scent filters in. I watch as she walks in, hugs mon, and kisses dad on the cheek. She walks right back out, and I hear the front door close. I am sure she is with Reyna, Elayni, Laryssa, and our sister. The five of them have become very close, and I am glad. They are in the process of rebuilding our school, but I doubt they will have it built on time for us to graduate. We are finishing the remainder of this year online.

“Have you two tried talking to her?” Mom asked.

“Yes, but she refuses to talk to us,” I answer.

I see dad smirk, and I really want to ask what the smirk is for.
