Chapter 40

Samantha POV

"Why don't you go and get your things then we can go home." I look around in alarm. I do not have anything.

"You go to your parents I will ship it out to the house. Don't worry." King Ate made it seems so easy. I think he forgot that I have no clothes.

My parents led me towards the door and out into the night. I cannot believe that the sun has already set.

It didn't take us long to actually stop in front of a small home. We had to drive through several mountains to reach it.

The house had this homey feel to it. This is the only time that I have seen grass anywhere on this island. There is a child's playset in the front yard.

My mother led me towards the house. Once she opened the door, my nose was in heaven. There are so many smells. One that stood out to me was the smell of fresh-baked bread. Nothing can beat it.
