"Why would he decide on doing something like that? Why would he bring me back to Italy without bothering to ask me in the first place if I wanted to? He pushed me into this marriage; why is it then that he is deciding for me again? Fuck this life!" Kaira shrieked with anger the moment she had the chance to speak to her cousin. The mere idea that she and Calix will be parting ways makes her feel like she might begin crying in front of Enzo, even if she doesn't want to.

All Enzo could do was give his cousin a hug while attempting to comfort her. "Kai, I know you are upset and furious about this, but try to remain calm. We don't want to bring your father and Luca into the picture right now. Besides, you should have expected that your father would do something like this," he said.

Kaira let out a deep breath and sank back into the chair, exhaling a defeated sigh.
