Chapter Thirty Six

In the dimly lit room, two people sat opposite each other with a table between them.

The lady styled her hair in a ponytail leaving few locks on either side of her face. The blue pendant of her necklace glowed brightly under the sunset red light that illuminated the room.

Her black gown gracefully exposed little parts of her body leaving you to think hard before you can imagine how her body was underneath. Of course, except for the person sitting opposite her.

He reclined on the chair studying her freckled face. He noticed she wasn't wearing her trustee eyeglasses.

Her lips parted while her lowered lashes blinked in nervousness. His hand ran over his hair.

He leaned forward intertwining his hands on the table. “ I believe you didn't invite me to dinner only to stare at the dishes. Let's eat first then talk later. ” His husky voice suggested. The lady nodded in agreement.

After the plates were cleared off the table, the lady finally spoke up.

“ I heard you are finally getting engaged
