Penny stood at the door of the restaurant in a dilemma.

Liam was right behind her. He said softly, “The woman sitting in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows over there is my mother. She’s a woman with explosive fighting power. You’ll be my savior if I can walk out alive today.”
