"Two martinis, please." I gestured the bartender to pour our drinks while I and Adeline seated on the high bar stool, her gaze was dancing around.

"You don't like this atmosphere then we can go back?" I asked her because no matter how important my discussion with Xavier was, I'd not leave her alone if she wasn't feeling comfortable.
