Thirty-four: Mastermind
Shane’s POV
I tried to open my eyes but I couldn’t see anything, everything is so dark but I know that I am not the only person in the room. I kept on hearing voices, but I can’t decipher what they are talking about. I tried to stretch my hands but fear ate my system when I realized that both of my hands are tied in a chair.
Where am I?
I attempted to scream to ask for help but I can’t open my mouth. I calmed myself and tried to remember what had happened and what I am doing here.
Then everything played into my mind like a series of photographs, the dinner with Erwan’s family, the night I went home, the guy on the veranda.
I am doomed. Did I just got kidnapped?
