Chapter 45

This morning was very different from Robert's usual mornings. Other mornings, he wakes up whenever he felt like and that is always past nine or in some cases past ten. He was a strong believer in quality sleep or beauty sleep, he calls it any of the two on different occasions. The more sleep you get the more productive you would be during the day. This particular morning, however, the resonating sound from his alarm clock woke him up from his beauty sleep. He tried to block the sound by covering his ears with his duvet but it seems like the more he covered himself, the louder the sounds get, if he doesn't put off the alarm right this instance, his eardrums would get damaged. In anger, he stretched out his hand to the bedside table and when he found the object that was the cause of his discomfort, he smashed it against the wall then the room suddenly became quiet.
