Shirley was surprised that Amelia stayed true to her words because when she and Alicia walked back into the bedroom, Amelia was almost done with her makeup. Shirley looked at the clock hanging on the wall just to be sure how long it took her to dress up. She thought that maybe she and Alicia got carried away with complimenting themselves and stayed for like thirty minutes or thereabouts, but to her surprise, they only spent seven minutes in the bathroom.
