CHAPTER 52: STORMY DAYS
The sun was shining bright at the balcony as Jessica watered some plants that looked parched. She had spent the night at the governor’s house and she was getting ready to leave the house for work.
"You know I have staff that do that,” the governor Richard said when he saw her watering the plants.
“Well, then somebody has been sleeping on the job. This plant is almost dead," Jessica said.
“I will handle it. You shouldn’t be slaving away at my house,” he said.

The first place that Ella and Eddie were taken after they were arrested was an abandoned building. They were then separated and left alone for what seemed like hours. After some time, they were separately interrogated and then they were left alone again.
