“You wouldn’t have to look around like a stranger if you would visit sometimes,” Florence said.

“Isn't it ironic that you want me to visit my parents’ house?” Tracy said sarcastically.

“We have been over this too many times. They owed me money and I had to pay myself. I would have let you stay if you had not been so stubborn,” Florence said. She did not bear the slightest bit of remorse.

“The cremation is next week on Thursday. I will send you the details later today,” Tracy said.

“I already told you that will not work. Tracy has to be buried next to your parents in the village. We do not cremate people in our culture,” Florence said.
