CHAPTER 70: NEW HOME, NEW LIFE
The weekend began for Jessica on a high note. The people from the moving company arrived at 8 am ready to start working. While the kids had breakfast on the porch, each room was quickly being compressed into cartons and crates while furniture was wrapped in cling film. Within just one hour, everything was ready for movement. Jessica bid goodbye to a few neighbours and she embarked on a new adventure. At the new house, the moving staff quickly reassembled everything in the three bedroom guest house. Jessica was pleasantly surprised to find that the master bedroom had been tastefully finished so that the rest of the old furniture fitted into the other bedrooms comfortably. Milcah and Jessica finished rearranging some things in the house and then they walked around the main house.

His mind was racing as he wondered how he was going to pull this off. Ella seemed like a headstrong woman but he knew her independence was the only thing he could leverage against her.
