Chapter 37: We don’t want you!

I almost ran to my room, wanting to find out what the hell Jay was up about. What is a Sybil wolf and how does that relate to me? He had refused to get up even after I begged him to, so I had to leave him still kneeling there.

I rushed into my room, not noticing at first that it wasn’t the exact way that I’d left it the last time. I went to my dresser and sat down, then I looked at my face all over.

There was no change whatsoever. I couldn’t understand the white eyes that Jay said he had seen. My eyes were still the normal color.

Did he perhaps drink before training? That must be the only answer because nothing he said to me made sense.

After looking over at myself one more time, I sighed and was able to have a good look around the room. A frown creased my face as I took in the space around me. Most of my little belongings were missing from the spot where I’d put them. And now that I pay even more attention to it, I realize that my things have been moved away.
