Chapter 19: Again! Alpha Aria, Again!!

ARIA'S POV

"Aria? What are you doing here at this hour?"

I turned slowly to face Anthony, as if I hadn't just been snooping around, picking a random book to make it look like I had been reading.

I snapped the book shut and smiled up at him. "Good evening, Alpha Anthony. I was just reading."

He looked around, as if he were searching for someone. "How did you find the library?" He turned to me, and his brow furrowed a bit. "I don't remember asking anyone to show it to you."

"Oh, you know," I said with an awkward laugh. "The things that boredom makes you do! I found it myself." I said the last part, a deadpan look on my face.

Anthony's brow relaxed. "You are supposed to be in your room."

"Yes, I am. But I was too bored with the cancellation of the training this evening, I couldn't just sit and do nothing."

"So you divided to explore, is that it?"

"Perfectly correct." I said, looking to see if there would be a reaction of any sort. There was none.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"
