Chapter 77: Ambushed
ARIA'S POV
We had successfully captured the person who delivered the threats. It wasn't Dane, rather, it was his messenger. I should have known that Dane would not be silly enough to deliver those threats by himself.
Shirtless, he was in the torture room, tied hands and legs to a seat, together with the torture master, uncle Jeremiah, Anthony, and I.
"How did you know that she was here?" Uncle Jeremiah questioned the messenger. He kept mute, refusing to answer the question.
He had been mute ever since he had been captured and brought to the torture room.
"You still won't answer." Uncle Jeremiah said rather than asked. "Heat the metal up seventy times and inflict burns on him." He ordered the torture master.
He did as he was ordered. The messenger's screams rang through the air as the metal hit him and burned into his flesh.
