Dim light flickered in the small shack. The full moon hung high above, displayed as a witness. A man paced in front of the building. His hand ran over the space beside him. He grudgingly opened his eyes to find his Mate missing from his bedside. He sat up and glanced around the open room. "Mom, do we have to go back now?" Myra whined. "We didn't even swim with the sharks yet." The Wolf pup pouted with disappointment. Lily smiled sadly at her daughter as she zipped up her luggage. "I know, sweetie, but something came up and your father and I need to handle it right away." Myra hopped up on the bed she finished making. "Is it about this Karmina lady?" Erica burst into laughter. "I'm sorry. This is a joke, right?" She asked them. Once everyone settled in, Willow explained the situation to her. As expected of Erica, she laughed at the hilarity of it. Jayce sat out for a moment to get the children settled and to take care of a few things in the Pack House. Their sudden arrival back home with no notice set off an alarm to his security, and it was safest if he handled it away from the house. Lily didn't object, though she wished he was with her to go through this ordeal a second time. Thankfully, Damion, her other moral of support alongside Erica had arrived shortly before Jayce had left and filled him in on the unexpected guests. To say the least, Damion was equally not as welcoming to the bunch as Jayce originally was. She knew he smelt it in each of them. Their distinct differences. Especially Zalakai. Lily set down a small tray on the coffee table with cookies and pasties. "I have tea, coffee and water if anyone would like any."

He tossed back the shot glass; the liquid burned his throat. "I know I agreed to go along with hearing them out, but what they claim is still ridiculous." He grumbled to himself. He stood beside the large tree that played as a centerpiece to his garden. One of Lily's favorite places to go when she desired serenity. Now she retreated to the piano room and locked the door to refrain him from entering. "Okay, I have the wine." Erica called out as she entered the room. "Erica, that's three bottles of wine." Lily called her out. "Darling, we may need a fourth and fifth bottle, depending how tonight goes." Erica told her honestly. "My hubby is also delivering us pizzas any minute now." She set the bottles on the small coffee table. After Jayce and Lily agreed to have a sit down with them, it was arranged to have the discussions at the Pack House. Penelope volunteered to hang back at the house with the children while waiting for Derek to land. However, getting through the Pack House was... challenging. With Jayce's warriors stationed at the Pack House, all eyes, ears and noses were on them the moment they all arrived. It would have been easier if it was just herself, Jayce, Damion and Erica coming through. Even with the additional Humans walking through the building, the attention wouldn't be as bad. However, a Vampire, A Rogue Werewolf, a Witch and a Demon were thrown into the mix.

Jayce sat back in his chair as he surveyed the group closely. The ice clinked in his whiskey glass as he brought it to his lips. Dante sat poised, with one leg crossed over the other. He was a defined gentleman to the letter with his black slacks and dark red button up. His dark hair had grown a little since the last time he saw him. The golden eyes shimmered as he took a sip from his own whiskey glass. Though, being a Vampire, he most likely wanted something else to drink instead. He didn't know the man well enough, but he was respectable and well versed in the world's knowledge. Amongst the group all together, he was the most trustworthy.
