SALLY'S POV

Everything was a waste after all, alpha Lucas who was the only reason I decided to attend the so called occasion wasn't in attendance. I couldn't stop thinking about him and hoped he was okay. For alpha Lucas not to attend the occasion and no one even bothered or cared about it. My mind was troubled for the rest of my stay there, even when the elders of the council of the night walking creatures and supernatural beings had finished talking, and alpha Derek decided to address the other alphas I didn't bother to pay attention to what he had to say.

After alpha Derek's speech, refreshments were served and everyone got busy except me who was still busy searching for alpha Lucas. I knew it for a fact that alpha Lucas wasn't there, yet I didn't want to accept it.

I kept on looking around the whole place but yet he wasn't there... I prayed silently in my heart, that the whole rubbish will come to an end so that I can go back to my room and sleep out my sorrow. Crying was now old
