1. Prologue

"Come on run faster," I said, holding Julietta's hand running out of the pack house and into the woods.

I couldn't stay there, especially now that I had fallen in love with him and he had discovered my secret.

Falling in love wasn't the plan. The plan was to trick and gather information about Damien from him then leave but now, I not only failed to gather infor but I fell inlove instead! 

"Why do you have to be so stupid Myrah! Dad would definitely be disappointed in you!" I scolded myself, triple taping on my watch, sending a signal to my family and alerting them of the situation.

"Myra why are we running where are we going?" Julietta asked while we ran into the woods.

It was midnight and the moon was shining brightly above us which clearly gave me the feeling that I would get caught sooner or later especially with the fact that my family wasn't responding.

" We are going Far away princess. Far from everyone, we can't stay here," I responded a little out of breath not because I was tired but because I was afraid.

Afraid of getting caught because I knew for a fact that if they caught me then I would lose m life and most importantly, I would lose Julie.

"Wait stop," Julietta stopped running and I had to stop as well, " I can't leave this place, I like it here! I want to stay here please Myra," she pleaded.

"No Julie we can't stay, it's dangerous!" I said sternly but---

"Myra!!" a voice I knew too well growled! Startling me and Julie who instantly clung on to me while we both looked at him

Brian!

" It has always been you, right? You are the B***h that killed my parents and kidnapped my little sister! It's because of you that my uncle is in that mess!" Every word he said felt like a thousand needles to my heart.

I didn't want to hurt anyone any more I just wanted to take revenge on my father's murderers.

" No I didn't do it! I didn't, it was all Alpha Damien," I tried to defend but he just gave me the same look that he gave his enemies.

He had his claws out with his canines elongated and his eyes were as dark as the night.

I knew for sure that he wasn't going to listen to me and the only way out of this was to fight.

I pushed Julie behind me then took out my poisoned bow and arrow pointing at him.

A few more growls resounded all around me followed by werewolves in all shaped and sizes surrounding me and Julie.

"I'm not going to spare you today Myrah! I will make you pay for what you did to my parents! Even though you are my mate, I will make sure you go through hell!" He growled again followed by shifting into his wolf and baring his teeth at me and taking a fighting stance.

I knew I wasn't going to get out of this alive but I wasn't going to back down without a fight either, because a cross never backs down without a fight!

Myra Renee cross: Female Wolf Hunter. Brian Brooks' mate. She is an emotionless girl who finds pleasure and happiness in killing wolves. Only smiles genuinely when around her family especially her adopted sister Julietta.

Aira Layla cross: Myra's long lost twin sister.  Rant of Blood Forest Pack, lost her mother due to a rogue attack.  She is sweet and overly emotion which gives her enemies way to taunt and ridicule her

Brian Gabriel Brooks: Alpha of the Red Crystal Pack. Lost his parents at age fourteen, hence had to take the position of Alpha with the help of his uncle. He is caring towards his family and pack members and dreams of finding a mate who will fill the void in his heart.

Daniel Andrew Banks: Beta of the Red Crystal Pack and Brian's cousin. He has no intention of finding a mate and would rather hook up with many girls than get tied to one for life.

Julietta Angel Cross: Brian's long lost sister, Myra's adopted sister. She is sweet and soft with a big heart and only cares about one thing and that is her sister Myra.
