Chapter 109

Theodore

The car stopped and Theo looked at the building. The evening was chilly and dark and there were only a few people lurking around. He took in the shabby building and sighed. This place could never look great even with all the Christmas lights on it.

He exited the car and asked the driver to wait.

It was a place where Theodore couldn’t leave his Jaguar unattended.

He buttoned up his suit jacket and looked around. The silence was everywhere.

Theodore was expected here, and he took the few stairs to the building.

The guard asked him to enter his details and then guided him through a door.

Officer Marshal met him at the desk and stood up to shake Theodore’s hand.

“He is right where you wanted him to be.” He informed Theodore and then guided him to a room upstairs. Outside the door, leaning on the wall was everything that Theodore wanted. A thick metal rod, a hockey stick, a baseball bat, a whip, and a cricket bat.

“Which one do you need?” Officer Marshal asked.
