Natalie

Natalie was not very enthusiastic about lunch at her parents’ place. So, she woke up late, and spent half an hour thinking what she should wear, because her mother never approved her being clad in cheap clothes.

Theo was right when he said that she needed money, because her parents gave her none. Instead, her father was asking her to return the college fees he had paid. She rolled her eyes at the thought.

Natalie shook her head. She was well aware that if she started thinking about Theo, she will never be able to do anything else.

She was not mesmerized by Theo or liked him, but there was a connection between them, and Natalie was not going to deny it. It was like a spark.

She chose the baby pink jumpsuit, and called a cab. She was dreading the lunch. Every time her father mentioned marriage, she panicked. Because she didn’t want to get married for the sake of anything but love. If she can’t marry for love, then she won’t marry at all. If only her father could understand this.
