Chapter 18

It's been a week since Carlos kept a close eye on Inaya and her behavior. Even though she had mentioned returning to her parents, no stance of escaping was pulled by her. She doesn't come out of the room; rather, most of the time she remains seated on the floor or sleeping on the bed. Sometimes Carlos felt irritated looking at her. She was getting the hospitality of a five-star hotel and happily enjoying her stay in his mansion. 

Carlos reached his legal office for a new deal that was about to come up. Millions of dollars would be involved in that, giving him a profit of a larger share. The meeting went well as the C.E.O. of Pristine Group looked impressed. Once the meeting was reaching the end his phone suddenly started vibrating. Excusing himself he took the call reaching towards another corner.

"Boss, one of our warehouses caught on fire. And....." The man on the opposite side gulped down before nailing himself.
