Chapter 19: The truth

They went to the place where they were supposed to stay for the night. Carson looked for the owner of the place but he is nowhere to be found. They knocked so many times but no one’s answering, he paid for the place but they can’t enter. 

“Excuse me, Is everything alright?” a lady asked. Carson bangs the door, letting his anger out. He turned around and saw the lady, it was the lady earlier at the playground. “You’re the man earlier.” The lady said pointing at Carson, everybody was stunned. 

The woman took them to her home, a house with 4 rooms. The woman let them sleep there for the night. “Have some of these. I assume you guys are not from here. You should be careful if you're looking for a place to stay here, others are trying to take your money.” The lady
