Chapter 44: EagleWatch

The village was in outright disarray. There were flames everywhere. I could see the knights that were there to protect the people of this were slaughtered. Including some of the villager's bodies. Blood was pooling from their lifeless bodies. There was a river in the middle of the village.

Yet the river was a watery red. The fishes that lived there must have been close to death. Or already dead. There were even butchered animals, deers, in some places. Overall just pure annihilation; destruction; and death. The people of this land were in each other's arms. They were shaking, wet with tears.
