Chapter 43: Starry night sky
It was a quiet ride all the way to Eaglewatch. Yet at some point during the night we both saw a bright flash. It was only there for a few seconds before it left. We tried to ride through the night, however, exhaustion got the hold of us. Leigh, somehow, got a vine from a tree and tied up our horses.
I didn't make a fire. It would have made our place known. The next morning we went full speed ahead for our trip. We didn't know what was going to happen when we got to the village. We kept our hopes up. We shouldn't have because when we arrived our optimism was shattered.

It has been a day-long trip. Anna, Leigh, Kilyn and I have been travelling through these woods at a steady pace. Now, here we are at the old lady, Aphy's little hut. "That's strange.
