Chapter 42: Sisters of fate

I exit the tent, the knights looking at me with shock as I come out completely aces. My long legs carry me over to the woods. The same woods that I saw Kathleen go into and the one Levin is located at. There I find the old woman and Levin sitting in silence.

"Where is Kathleen?" I ask, irritation thick in my voice. Levin's eyebrows furrow, "Did a snake get in your boots? Why are you so upset?" He already questions me. I roll my shoulders, trying to hold myself back. Releasing some tension I had. "Answer the question." I command him.

"Whatever do you mean? Kathleen did not come this way." He asks and then answers, his horse neighing. He pulls him and they stand still once more. "She must have gone the other way," I say with a disappointed sigh. My shoulders slaking.
