Can't Hide Forever

I was brought before Alpha Kane. He was alone, sitting in a room that had a long table that could be occupied by thirty persons. His long legs were crossed on each other and lifted onto the table. He appeared to be resting.

This room looked dark and eerie. It felt like one of those rooms where the screams of those tormented will never escape from. It was sealed. Windows closed and doors closed. It was day but here it seemed the opposite was the case.

I refused to let anyone touch Alex and Xandra. A man who tried a while ago didn't receive a cool response, I almost ripped his hands off. He was so rude to me and he provoked me more than once. He kept handling me roughly, pushing me towards the main entrance recklessly. I was shocked at myself too after I attacked him. His friends knew better now unless Alpha Kane wanted half of the men he sent to lose their arms. It was Nyx who finally told them to be cautious when they were with me.
