Taming the beast

I flinched as he hurled a chair against the floor to ceiling glass window. His laptop was split into two parts right beside where now the chair landed after a harsh collision against the window. Pieces of his phone, lamp and files were scattered across the marble floor. 

He was on a rampage, destroying everything that came into his sight.

With worry laced in my mind along with a slight fear, I peeked through the door of his cabin that was left ajar as he destroyed his office.

His face was red in rage, shoulders rigid, hands shaking to destroy. The veins of his neck stood out as he threw his desk across the cabin, breaking the glass that covered its surface in millions of pieces.

A gasp slipped through my lips.

Why was he behaving like this? What happened all of a sudden that made him react in such a vicious way?
