The next morning, the moment we were finished with our breakfast, Sam appeared at the door, ready to take Sofia back. Which I didn't appreciate at all. I wanted her to stay with me for the day, or not to leave at all. But she insisted on going back home because she didn't want her family to be worried for her.

A whole week passed and Adrian's mood was still the same. No, he didn't go on a rampage again, but he went in a shut down mode.He would come to the office earlier than usual, and go home at midnight, sometimes wouldn't even leave the office at all.
