“DADDYYYY!!!” They all ran and hugged the leg they thought was their daddy. Adrian immediately crouched down. Put on a smile, then returned the hug.

“Daddy misses you so much,” Adrian said. His voice sounded so gentle that anyone who heard it would think it was a sincere expression. In fact, not at all. Really extraordinary acting.

“We know Daddy must come back to us! Daddy promised and we know Daddy always keeps his word!” said Delilah.

Delilah looked up at her daddy with admiring eyes. Her eyes seemed to twinkle. That seemingly sincere smile stunned Adrian.

‘Is Russell that important to them?’ One thought was bothering Adrian’s current thinking.
