Sabine

As I entered the pack house, I saw Eithan sitting comfortably next to Kade on the silver light L shaped couch. Their faces held smiles that made me realize both of them enjoyed the time they spent together. My heart ached knowing that I was about to ruin their day, but the problem we were about to face couldn’t wait any longer.

I glanced at Kade, who looked handsome despite being just released from the clinic. He wore a black sleeve shirt and gray pants.

“Ethan,” I called, trying to figure out how I was going to break the news. Eithan had always been supportive, and I knew I could rely on his input.

“Sabine, what happened?” Eithan questioned me as a frown appeared on his forehead. He stood up, quickly reducing the distance between us like he could sense my struggle.
