I clenched my fist and felt the anger boiling inside me. The tension in the room was palpable as I struggled to keep my emotions in check.

I can't let my emotions get the best of me, especially when someone is more vulnerable than I am. Taking a deep breath, I was reminded of the people who were far more important than my anger at that moment.

I turn my head to Kiera; her eyes are filled with tears, and I realize that my anger is nothing compared to her pain. Her whole life, she trusted one person, but now that trust has been shattered.

I don't even know how she feels deep inside; she must be hurting beyond words.

"Kiera..." I called out softly, reaching out to offer her a comforting hug. After such a long time, Kiera finally let herself break down in my arms, allowing herself to feel the pain and vulnerability she had been holding back for so long.

"I don't know what to do, Jason." She cried softly, her voice trembling with emotion. "I am lost; everything I know and everyone I trust h
