Chapter 11

Mira opened the door of Arlan's house with a bang, successively almost shattering it. She didn't bother to be polite as she directly went to his bedroom, followed by Azarias who was the calmer one.

He sighed, fixing Arlan's door, then joined Mira.

There he was, Arlan wrapped in a white cloth. The wound was all over his body that some blood had managed to seep through his bandage.

Mira pulled Josh's collar. "How did this happen?"

A moment later, she sighed and let go of Josh when Azarias rubbed her shoulder, telling her to calm down. Realizing that she was being too emotional, Mira could only restrain herself. After all, no matter how she had behaved like a boy all this time, she was still a girl.

"Arlan was alone when he practiced until the late afternoon. Someone attacked him with a knife out of nowhere. When another student found him, he was already bleeding profusely." Josh explained as he took a seat beside the bed.
