Chapter 06

Two tall, burly men stood in the way as Haven entered the corporate entrance of Galaxi Company, right near the company's reception.

"I'm here to meet CEO Garrick Blackton, we made an appointment this morning," said Haven.

The two security guards looked at each other after hearing the words of a shabby-dressed man, who looked like a bum and pretended to meet their highly respected CEO.

There's no way CEO Garrick Blackton would want to meet a poor human, right?

"Hey, don't make up stories. Who are you? Get out of here quickly before we drag you out in our own way!"  order of the stocky security guard.

Haven exhaled slowly, his face trying to be as friendly as possible with a smile.

"I'm not leaving until I meet with CEO Garrick Blackton! If you won't let me in, tell him a man named Haven Clark is already in the lobby," Haven said.

"You really are a madman! Who are you, how dare you want to meet our esteemed CEO Garrick!"  said another security guard with an angry expression.  "Just go! Someone like you doesn't deserve to meet him!"

Just then, the thump of a pair of high heels on the floor sounded closer and closer, the sound came from the long footsteps of a blonde woman, with a beautiful face and sexy body.  Hers lips are red, slightly thick, and sexy.

Several security guards who were there bowed in salute, then greeted, "Ms. Rosei."

"Is this you Haven Clark?"  a voice came out of the mouth of the thick-lipped and sexy woman.  She stepped closer clutching a booze-filled brandy snifter.

"Rosei Axim, it's lucky that I got to meet you

Haven then pointed at the two security guards blocking his way.  "Please tell them I want to meet your CEO."

Rosei Axim is Alice Lee's best friend.  Of course, Haven knew Rosei very well, who often visited Alice at the Lee family residence.

This woman has a fairly high position in the Galaxi Company, with a position as HRD.  With that title, most of the company's employees bow down to her. 

Rosei Axim nodded while raising one eyebrow, then she turned to the two security guards with a serious face.  "Who asked you not to allow this poor fellow to see the esteemed CEO Garrick Blackton?"

Good grief!

Haven gasped, he thought that if Rosei wanted to help he meet CEO Garrick, because they know each other, but it turns out that Rosei was the other way around.

The woman laughed mockingly.  "Hahaha, Haven. Why am I looking at your face as if expecting me to help you? It seems you are so wrong. Why would a poor person like you want to meet Master Garrick Blackton?!"

"You are even now a good-for-nothing man who just divorced my best friend!"  Rosei then narrowed hers eyes while drinking hers drink, as if thinking of something.  "Oh, or could it be that you came here to submit a proposal to finance the rest of your life in the past few years?"

The other two security guards burst out laughing at Rosei's mockery directed at Haven.

Haven took a deep breath.  His current appearance was enough to make everyone think that she wanted to beg.

Rosey then said.  "Security, quickly come here and get rid of this trash!"

Instantly eight people in security suits ran from outside to the company's reception area, where Rosei was.

"Rosei, you are too much," Haven said angrily.  Haven had thought of repaying Rosei's kindness in the future, if Rosei would help him meet CEO Garrick.

But Rosei threw away that luck instead.  If only Rosei would help hers, Haven as the god of war, would make sure no one could hurt her.

Ten company security guards stood around Haven Clark.  Their eyes looked like they wanted to kill.

Rosei stepped closer and poured a drink from hers glass onto Haven's shirt, luckily Haven was alert and the drink only hit a small part of the lower shirt.

Rosei then said to the security guard.  "Break this man's legs and arms and throw them out into the street for street dog food!"  Rosei ordered in a loud voice.

Haven just kept quiet and remained calm, but an intimidating aura leaked from his eyes which swept across the ten security guards of the company.  His clothes were wet, he felt very humiliated.

Rosei who saw the changes in Haven's body felt fear creeping all over hers body, but hers hatred and disgust for Haven was able to cover hers fear.

"You guys really don't want to call CEO Garrick?"  asked Haven with a sweeping look.

Only laughter and rejection escaped everyone's lips.

"Don't dream! A beggar like you needs to get out of here soon!"

However, a woman who was at the staff desk said.  "If CEO Garrick Blackton does invite you, I see nothing wrong with him on your behalf, sir."

Everyone stared at the woman in surprise, including Rosei who seemed to hate her.  Rosei hoped that the female staff would be punished for being so impudent as to call CEO Garrick just because Haven's request was nothing more than a madman's nonsense.

Haven felt so relieved.  After this he would make sure the staff employee lady got a good reply from he.

The female staff went into the elevator, going up to the 17th floor where CEO Garrick was.

In the President Director's room….

CEO Garrick nearly jumped out of his chair.  Now cold sweat dripped all over his body.

"W-what? He's already here?"

"Yes, sir. Mrs. Rosei Axim, the HRD department of the company, has tried to expel the young man, but it seems the man is insistent on meeting you, Mr. Garrick," said the female staff while lowering hers head, she didn't know what really happened to CEO Garrick.  .

CEO Garrick's body shook violently, his heart almost exploded from pumping blood through his body too fast.

Damn it!  I'm really so stupid and careless!

CEO Garrick kept swearing and cursing his stupidity.  He forgot to tell all of his employees that this morning there would be a young man dressed in rags coming to the Galaxi Company.

With his stocky body, the figure of CEO Garrick ran towards the elevator.  His big finger pressed the elevator button in a hurry.  Feel the very slow motion of the elevator.  "Shit! I hired the wrong elevator technician!"

On the first floor of the Galaxi Company's company….

"What are you waiting for! Hit this trash and throw it for street dog food!"

Haven looked at the woman intently.  His hand motioned for the security guard to be quiet with his intimidating aura.  "Rosei, I will make sure you are in big trouble once your leader comes."

"Hahaha, who are you? What honor do you have that our leader is willing to come to you?"  asked Rosei with great confidence.

However, there was something they didn't know.  The first floor elevator opened, a charismatic man ran out of the elevator like someone being chased by a demon.

Rosei was surprised by CEO Garrick's arrival, she bowed hers body ninety degrees.  "Master Garrick Blackton."

Garrick Blackton didn't care about Rosei in the slightest, the charismatic man walked straight and stopped right in front of Haven.

"Brother Clark, sorry for the delay in seeing you."  CEO Garrick bowed his body ninety degrees.
