Chapter Thirty Three: The Two Angels

"All right, I'll listen. I'm not going to judge you, I'm not going to make fun of you, and I'm not going to tell anybody else.” Gavin said.

Elize drank quite a bit. "Who is your family's male friend?" demanded Elize.

Gavin frowned. “My family knows many people, especially when it comes to business. Who are you referring to?" Gavin asked

"Mr. Samonte. Who is he?" Elize asked

Gavin looked at Elize first, and she also looked at him. "Have you been in Daddy's office?" asked Gavin.

"Yes, why?" demanded Elize. "Ain't you gonna ask me what I did there?"

Gavin shook his head and gazed upon Elize again, from the eyes, to the nose, to the lips. He directed his gaze towards Elize's eyes.

"Dad's business partner is Uncle Raymond Samonte," told Gavin. He took Elize's drink and emptied it.

Gavin couldn't figure out his feelings. He seemed excited by the way he was thinking. What if he thought it wrong? But he might try anyway.
