Her eyes widened as the wine spilled across her dress, staining it from her chest down to her thigh.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Ariella rushed to her aid.

All Lily could think about at that moment were the words Harriet had said to her.

"It's a five hundred dollar dress, don't ruin it, or you'll have to pay double."

Lily sighed as Ariella attempted to clean the dress with tissues, only making the stain worse.

"I'm really sorry, Lily!" Ariella apologized again.

"It's okay, I'll just clean it in the bathroom," she said. Lily felt that it was an honest mistake, so she didn't want to be upset with Ariella. She retreated to the bathroom to clean the dress, but the red wine stain proved difficult to remove. She continued cleaning until the stain was barely noticeable.

Sighing, she ran her hand through her hair and looked at herself in the mirror. Her reflection showed nothing but stress in her eyes. She stepped out of the bathroom and bumped into Noah.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"Yes," she answered
