Caleb was to sit before his meal. Lily watched from his side and a smile crept up her lips. Their little encounter had completely changed her mind about him. She enjoyed his presence and even prayed for more. Caleb was a part of the reason she didn't want to use that drug against them. She did not want him to get hurt. He was the first to put a spoonful of food in his mouth. She watched him with delight. He even eats gorgeously, Lily thought smiling. He looked extremely handsome in her eyes. The green in his eyes made her belly flutter.

However, once a spoon of the meal touched Calrb’s mouth, he froze. His eyes widened and his mouth chewed gently like he was being careful. Suddenly, he spat out the food. A dark expression clouded his face and then he turned to Lily.

“Who cooked this meal?” He asked, redness filling his eyes. He took a glass of water and gulped it.
