Gabriel POV
After our shower, I take river back to my bed and she lays down on her side and I spoon her from behind. Our naked bodies fit perfectly together as if we were made for each other.

Gabriel POVIt’s been two weeks. The doctor has been around and taken another round of blood tests and River keeps getting worse. There are days that she is okay and she feels like new but the last three days she’s been really bad and that made her lose a lot of weight as she can’t keep any food in her. I am getting extremely worried. She has been complaining of headaches again. She has gastrointestinal exams this week so they can check how she’s doing. River looks like a skeleton.
