CHAPTER NINETEEN

Once Levi fell asleep, I had decided that it would be best to carry on with the rest of the activities that I had planned for him afterwards. So all of us went back to the park that I had met Ian at the beginning of the day, so that Levi could be taken back home whilst we waited. I didn't want the others to know where the house was.

I knew that the others were confused, shocked at my behaviour and had many questions but I wouldn't answer any of them. They had observed me as if I were a specimen wanting to figure out. It was the first time that they had seen me without my blank mask. Albeit there were some instances where I would be annoyed, or my lips would twitch at something stupid Max did - I'd never laughed or smiled in front of them.

I was watching a smiling and giggling Levi who was playing with Austin and Lena in the grass in front of us. Max and Jax in their own world concentrated on a game of thumb-war with Tyler as their referee. Aspen and Harper talking next to us. It was
