She pretends to be sterned. An expression Tony did not bother about because he has made all the arrangements before setting the dinner date. He sent Mick earlier in the morning to go to the marriage registry to get a marriage license for them without making an appearance. He wanted her to be his and was trying to prevent his father from achieving his aim of making him married to Marie who he does love. He was very discreet about it and only asked Mick to make the arrangement without letting anyone know of it. Christy will be surprised to see a valid marriage license certificate when their meal is over. There is nothing his powers and connections can not do for him. That power and connection he vowed in his heart that he was going to use to protect and care for her because she will never lack for anything, materially and emotionally.
