Ash’s point of view I walk into the Firepit with my hood pulled over my face, trying to stay hidden from the massive crowd. JD is on the door tonight; he lets me into the club with a nod of his head; I keep my head down as I make my way to the back rooms. The place is packed to the rafters, and most of the crowd is hoping to get a glimpse of Killer. "Killer" Yeah, that's me. Ash's point of view I search the Firepit, but she is gone, but those eyes still haunt me. As I make my way backstage, Stan is waiting for me; he looks at me as he asks. "You okay, Jax?" "Yeah" Is all I manage to say, my thoughts still consumed by her beautiful face. Stan does not press me for anymore, although he knows that something is troubling me as he places a large glass in front of me. I empty its contents feeling the burn as it hits the back of my throat. Even though I don't have any more fights this week, I spend every night at the Firepit searching through the crowd for her, but she is never there. Maybe it was just my imagination playing tricks on me. No, she was far too beautiful to be my imagination. I have never seen a woman as beautiful as her in my life, but it was her eyes that I was drawn to, they look almost soulless, empty, and lifeless, and for some reason, I find myself wanting to help this beautiful woman. Ash's point of view I groan as I try to open my eyes, my head feels like I have been hit by a brick, and my mouth is so dry; where the hell am I? I wonder as I look around.
