I stepped into my kitchen to a counter filled with mail and gifts. For some reason, merfolks from all over sensed my mating and sent me congratulatory letters and presents. Alex dragged me with him downstairs. Everyone was getting ready to jump in the pool. I relaxed in the kitchen while everyone transformed. Well, everyone except Fel. The sight was a beauty from afar. Their glows blended together when my eyes were closed. I caught a gist of what Alex was talking about. The mixed colors may not be rainbow-colored like mine, but it was close enough.When the Princess transformed, she now acquired two colors instead of one. Her grey aligned with the same blue as Mitch. I grabbed one of the pizza slices Alex collected from the guard. We were somewhat jealous. He had the ability to venture outside the pool as far as to the phone in the kitchen to make the order for pizza. That was not all, he didn't even have to go through a second transformation to accomplish all that. He did it while in his merman state. I woke this morning with an unsettling sensation in the pit of my stomach. Shelly should have been back already. She never stayed away from me this long. Shelly was responsible. If something happened to cause her to visit to run overtime, she would have called. Instead, she did not. Land folks! Whenever anyone talked about land folks, they were often described as complex creatures that tackled little tasks or difficulties each day. Some of these people called it chores. Others described their actions as work. The leisure things were hobbies. There were so many names and too many fascinating things.Those activities were not as dangerous as fighting sharks. Nonetheless, it was just as terrifying. The greatest part was with each activity, it was just as rewarding in the end. For example, cooking. Land folks would gather all the ingredients from powders to leaves. Eventually, these ingredients were used to turn into mouth-watering feasts that exploded with flavors in my mouth.I groaned just thinking about it.
