Chapter 25: Regain of Memory

Endless tears streaked down my cheek, and rain soaked my entire body, allowing the nightwear to lay against me as if it were my second skin.

I discovered what had truly happened to me during the full moon. There's no way I'd stay with Madison.

I felt like a fool, believing the alpha truly wanted me to be a part of his pack. It was all because of guilt. I should have figured it out in his abrupt decision to take me in his pack and why he helped me. I now hated Alpha Deucalion as much as I hated The Grey Pack members. I now wanted him to be no more, just as the Grey Pack members were. He was evil, cruel, and no better than them.

I fell beside the river. I had lost my tale, and I screamed.

It was Alpha Deucalion's fault that I had lost my mate. He was the reason I was captured. I remembered him giving me a fist in the head right after I found my mate.

As I slowly became unconscious, he put me in a cage and went to call the Grey Pack.
