Chapter 52: A Sad Alpha

Alpha Deucalion P.O.V

My fingers traced the marks on both hands. They weren't healing. I had managed to stop it from bleeding but the wounds weren't closing as they would during the healing process.

They stung as I touched them. These were bites I obtained from my fated mate, Rain.

"They still aren't healing?" I heard Madison.

I immediately pulled down the long sleeves of my shirt hiding them.

Madison approached me and sat before my desk.

"It, has been hours, and still your wounds, look fresh," she said concerned.

"If they don't heal quickly, they could get infected.

"I know," I retorted too worried about them.

I know why my wounds were taking such a long time to heal. I had hurt my fated mate badly. I had caused her so much misery when she did nothing wrong to me. I blamed myself for being unable to control my anger.

"Let me see it," said Madison.

I placed my hand on my lap not wanting her to.

"How's she doing?" I asked ignoring her request.

Madison takes a deep breath in and exhales

I may be wrong but I don't think she will go to Pain Pack because he made her leave.I think she will go to the tree she lived in with her grandmother.
