Chapter 12: The Ex - Part Two

As soon as I get into the car, Xavier goes back into the building. I look at Ro and he is busy putting on my seatbelt and making sure I am comfortable. Some short minutes later, Xavier is back and he jumps in the front of the car and starts driving.

"We are going to get you to the hospital and you are going to file a police report. I saw you struggling with him and when he saw me he let you go and ran. That is the official version, ok?" He tells me and I nod slowly. "Good, now come here, let me distract you from this pain a bit."

I look at him puzzled but just then he kisses me and I gasp.

He is right, this distracts me and I feel like I missed him forever. His kiss is soft and gentle, making me relax and immediately soothing me. After several kisses, he manages to keep my focus away from the pain.

When I feel the car stop moving, Xavier walks down and opens the door for me. Ro unbuckles my seatbelt and gets out on the other side, walking to me and helping me out. I can walk,
