Chapter 56: Wrong Impression

I wake up feeling some cold wind blowing and I find myself shivering. The window is slightly open, and I see what is missing; Ro is not here.

Once I close the door, I rub my eyes and try to go back to bed, but I find it strange that he is not here with me. I check the clock on the nightstand and it shows it is only four o'clock. The door to the bathroom is partially open and it is dark inside. Where is he?

I hear something strange, like people talking somewhere in the house, and I know he must be there. I get up, cover myself with the shawl on the armchair, and head outside the room.

I hear the voices, and I recognize one of them being Ro's. It must be something important if he got up so early to deal with it. Should I leave him to deal with his things? Can I be of any help?

Curiosity gets the best out of me, and I walk through the halls following the voices, and I reach to his office when I hear him growl. My heart pounds fast and I hesitate only for a fraction of a second b
