Alpha Gray pov

Alpha Gray woke up face down in the dirt. Pine needles stung his drool-covered skin, and his body ached from being tied up with his arms on his back. His head pulsated, and he still felt weak from the remains of the poison.

He could hear the Alpha Rogue growl in the distance, and through blurred vision, he could see the man drag Nueva into the wall of fog. The Rogue army followed, leaving the wood quiet and dark with only the disturbed forest inhabitants complaining.

Alpha Gray inhaled slowly to reduce his heart rate and adrenaline flow. He needed to feel calm to use his senses better to observe the surroundings and determine how many soldiers were keeping guard.

When Alpha Gray felt it was safe, he pushed his knees under his stomach and wiggled himself up against a tree trunk until he stood. Next, he brought his hands closer to the forest floor and untangled his unsteady legs over them. Then, with his hands at the front, he could move towards the first unsuspecting gua
