Nathan lifted me off his lap. “I have to hide.” I raised my brow in question, why? “No one can know that I am alive at least not yet.” Oh! I nodded and helped him up. He winced in pain making me realize that he was really hurt.
Padding slowly, he walked behind the couch and crouched low while groaning, “this is turning out to be a bad idea.” He said through his teeth before keeping quiet. I had to stop myself from chuckling.
