Bryson's p.o.v

My brain stuttered for a moment, trying so hard to make connections of the words Ava had just uttered. I looked on at my right as Ray's legs gave out, forcing him to sit on the carpeted floor with both his hands on to of his head.

I thought for a minute that Ava was only joking or maybe getting back at us. Judging by her seriousness and sincerity, she knew what she just said.

The information left me blank and void, hell I don't know what to do or what to think. I didn't understand why or why this wasn't making any sense at all. Why would my parents keep this from us all this year's. How had Ava even discovered such confidential information? Did Mum and Dad show the certificates to her or she just stumble on them while she was cleaning? why though?
