Chapter 63 - Dylan Ashford

Dylan POV

“Dylan, you have a meeting in ten minutes,” Soraya announces through the intercom between my office and her desk. I rub my forehead, throwing my glasses on the table. I have a terrible headache today and I can’t even think about the next meeting.

“Okay, can you bring me a coffee, please?” I ask. Hopefully, the caffeine will help subside this hammering inside my head.

“Sure,” she replies, and I sit back in my chair, closing my eyes for a few minutes. My mind immediately travels to Jo, the way I found her on that bed, how she was looking so peaceful but so damaged.
